Simple Easter dinner party favors
This year, I am hosting Easter at my house so I wanted to make a little something special for my family members so that everyone had an Easter treat to take home. I was inspired by some mini cloche treat containers that I found at Michaels.
First up, I needed some classic coconut grass! To created it, I diluted some green food coloring with a little water, then pour it over the coconut in a plastic zipper bag. I squished it around to coat everything, then I spread it out on a baking pan and put it in a barely warm oven to dry out.
While my coconut was drying, I worked on an embellishment to add to the cloche. I had some rub-on transfers that I happened to pick up in the Target Dollar Spot, and thought the bunnies would look so cute on the dome.
Now, I was ready to assemble my treats! I put a little bit of coconut grass down first, then added four Cadbury Mini Eggs, stacked in a mini pyramid.
A simple little treat that looks cute on the dining room table!
