We enjoy traditional Christmas crackers so much every December that we thought it would be fun to create some for other holidays as well. Easter was the perfect chance for a fun and unique party favor, so I decided to make some cracker snap party favors to put at everyone's place setting on the Easter dinner table.

These crackers are super easy to make, thanks to a versatile DIY cracker snaps kit we found on Amazon. These ready-to-fill blanks even come with snaps and crowns, and can be decorated to suit the theme.

To make these blank favors Easter-themed, I created a cute printable featuring bunnies on various colors of backgrounds. And of course we're sharing these printable bunny cracker Wrappers with you so you can make your own, too!

I sized these wrappers are designed to fit exactly on these particular cracker templates. Just print whichever colors/pages you like onto regular paper (or sticker paper) and cut them out along the lines, creating three pieces.

You can create the entire cracker a single color, or do like I did and mix up the pieces, creating multi-colored crackers that are extra cute.

To add the wrappers to the cracker templates, just put a little gluestick or double-sided tape on the back (or if you used sticker paper, just peel the liner away).

Then press the paper in place, lining it up with the edge that has a tab on it, but taking care NOT to go over the tab itself.

Add all three pieces of the wrapper, thus covering all the big silver areas on the template.

The wrappers covered up the slits that the tabs will go into, so flip the template over and use a craft knife to cut through the slits on the template, cutting the paper underneath.

With the slit freed up again, you're all set to put the template together.

Roll the template up and tuck the middle tab into the middle slot, to start forming the tube.

Do the same with the smaller bands on the end, tucking in the tabs to create a full tube.

To close up one (and ONLY one!) end of the tube, just tie a ribbon around the die-cut triangles area and pull it tight.

It will magically close right up as you tighten the ribbon. Tie it in a bow and it'll be perfect.

Now flip the tube over and use the open end to add your candy, toys, and treats inside. Put in whatever can fit in the middle section of the cracker.

Don't forget the tissue paper crowns that are traditional in any cracker. The kit comes with them, but you can buy more if you need.

When the middle section is full, you can close the cracker up by tying off the second end just like you did with the first end.

Your Easter-themed crackers are ready to put on your table or add to the kids' Easter baskets.

To open the crackers, just pull on each end until it snaps open. You'll hear the classic "pop" as the cracker snap inside breaks, and all the candy and toys will be released. What a fun way to celebrate Easter!
