Hand Painted Spring Themed Breakfast Set

I love playing with new products, so I was so excited to receive some of DecoArt's new Glass Paint line in a gorgeous array of colors.
Since spring officially begins this week, I picked some fun spring colors and decided to decorate something with a floral motif. I found some charming plain white egg cups that were screaming for color, and I got right to work.
This glass paint was easy to apply and does a great job of self-leveling, giving me a professional look and durable finish. I painted on sweet little blue flower petals.
I wanted to outline the petals, but my liner brush skills are not overly impressive, so I tried using the DecoArt Fine Writer Tip. I screwed it right onto the paint bottle, and it totally works! It made outlining those tiny flowers a breeze.
After adding some yellow centers to my flowers, I painted a coordinating design on a plate, creating a sweet egg cup and dish set. I love how it came out.
Just look at how vibrant those colors are on ceramic, especially since I only applied one coat!
