If you've ever tried to plan an Amazing Race themed party or event, you've likely discovered that coming up with the clues for the legs of the race can be the hardest part. We've done several The Amazing Race events, and have lots of ideas to share for clues and tasks.

Our very first Amazing Race party, geared mostly for adult players (plus a few kids), took place on a family vacation in Florida. You can read all about our clues, which involved things like counting post office boxes and drinking milkshakes.

For a kid's party, you should take a look at the full details from our Amazing Race party for kids that we had the following summer. In that post, we share with you full details about all the clues we used for this race, including photos showing the kids completing the tasks.

For the ultimate list of Amazing Race clues, check out our Amazing Race party printables, which includes customizable, printable clue templates, instructions on how to write clues, and 20 fully-worked out clues! There are Roadblocks and Detours that are ready to go, and can be adapted to work no matter where your party is held.

Once you've got your Amazing Race clues worked out, don't forget to check out our other Amazing Race posts for more party prop ideas!

Do you think everyone will vote for themselves? Perhaps that should be a rule for the yellow beads - no voting for yourself;)
I can't wait to see all the pictures from your trip.

Shauna, I don't think people would vote for themselves, but it's probably a good idea to make that a rule, just in case :) Thanks for the tip!

You gals are so clever! The creative preparation that you put into your vacations is amazing! Will we be seeing tribal members running around Sanibel again this summer?
    cheers,

We'll be mostly on the beach for the games but you can be certain we will be in your store at least a few times. Perhaps we can do an in-store craft with you ladies?

I read on line about a survivor party that had the winning team enter their individual names twice at tribal and then the team that lost was only able to add their individual names once. At the end of the game "Jeff" picked the ultimate survivor out of the jar.

Hi, I've have been looking at your ideas for 2 days straight and am sooo happy I found this sight! I have to adapt your ideas for an indoor party but you have given me some great leads. I don't know if you look at this any more but I have a question. After I download the logo, how do I print the party name? I have tried copying it onto a blank word page but it won't let me write anything inside the logo. As you've probably surmised, I don't know much more than the basics when using a computer!

Hi Karen, and welcome to the site! We're so glad you found us and hope you continue to enjoy our project ideas. The Survivor logo we provide is an image that you can't edit directly with Word. However, you could create a "text box" in Word and place it over top of the image and then write your logo there. Or, you could use image editing software (like Photoshop) to edit the image directly. Hope that helps, and have a great party!

This site is awesome!!! I am planning a Girl Scout Survivor camping trip and we have most of our activities planned out but I was at a loss on ideas for decorations to make it more survivor. Your ideas are great. Do you have any more decoration ideas that you didn't post yet?? Thank you!!

Lillian, we're happy that we are helping you plan your Girl Scout camping trip! I think we've got all of our ideas posted on the site, although we have them in several different articles. Do a site search for "Survivor" to be sure you see them all. We hope you'll come back after the trip and let us know how it went. :)

Hey! I loved your ideas and games and your creativity, I think I'm going to use some of these ideas in my summer camp!! But can you do an other survivor party in the mountains, not on the beach? I will be waiting your answer and I hope you do it because I often have my camps in the mountains!! Thank you a lot!! :)

Eddy, I'm happy we were able to help you with some ideas for your summer camp. We don't live near the mountains and have no plans to visit anytime soon, so I don't see an opportunity for us to have a mountain-themed Survivor event. However, many of our challenges will still work for you, and some of our other readers have shared some great ideas in the comments above, so be sure to check them out!

I would love to know what your challenges are that you are doing or did. Did you have them somewhere on this site and I am just missing it, or could you share your ideas.

I'm doing a girl's camp for 250 girls with the survivor theme, and beach trip with five families and we are also HUGE survivor fans.
