Sesame Street Party Favor Bags and Printable Banner

I'm helping a friend throw a Sesame Street themed party for her one-year-old, and she put me in charge of the party favors. I knew right away what I wanted to do, and that was to make paper favor bags that looked like the Sesame Street characters.
And while I was at it, I designed a party banner using the same faces, so she could decorate the party space with a custom message and those lovable characters.
Sesame Street Character Favor Bags
Making favor bags featuring Elmo, Bert and Ernie, Cookie Monster, Oscar the Grouch, Big Bird, Grover, Abby Cadabby, Rosita, Zoe, Count, and Telly is super easy with our Sesame Street character face printables (available below).
These printables are sized perfectly to fit onto standard paper lunch bags that typically measure about 5-1/8" wide, 10-3/8" tall, and 3-1/8" deep. Choose bag colors that match closely to the characters you're making.
You can often find them in your local craft store, but here are links to the specific colors we found that match the Sesame Street characters perfectly:
- Elmo — Ruby Red
- Ernie — Orange (or use the orange bags from this Neon set)
- Big Bird and Bert — Sun Yellow (or use the yellow bags from this Neon set)
- Zoe — use the peach bags from this Neon set
- Oscar — Lime Green (or use the green bags from this Neon set)
- Telly — Hot Pink
- Abby — Lovely Pink
- Count — Lavender
- Grover and Cookie — Royal Blue
- Rosita — Rosita
Once you have the bags and the file, you're ready to go! Just print whichever character pages you need onto standard-size 8.5" x 11" white sticker paper, cut them out, and apply them to the bags.
Fill the bags with goodies, and fold over the top flap.
