12 days of Christmas giveaways – Day 7: resin jewelry kit Posted by Jo
December 20, 2011
Jo

Hard to believe we’re halfway through our 12 Days of Christmas Giveaways already. It’s even harder to believe that Christmas is just a few days away! Yesterday’s padding compound giveaway was a big hit with you guys, and I hope today’s prize is as well.

Day 7: resin jewelry kit

While jewelry-making is not something we’ve dug into too deeply in the past, it’s something that has always intrigued me. I’ve made a few pieces and have learned that not all resins are created equally. In particular, I’m a big fan of the ICE Resin because it’s so easy to use and dries crystal clear. If you’re looking for a fun new way to make jewelry, this is a great product to try!

We’re giving away a starter pack to TWO lucky winners! Each winner will get a package of ICE Resin Jewelers Grade Clear Casting Epoxy and two jewelry pieces, along with some information about the products. Just leave a comment on this page to enter, and we’ll randomly draw winners tomorrow morning.

RULES: One entry per person (determined by e-mail address). Two winners will be chosen at random from all valid comments received by the deadline. Winners will be contacted via e-mail within 72 hours of giveaway end date. Winners must reply within one week with a mailing address or prize will be forfeited and new winner will be chosen. Giveaway open to US residents only and prize will only be shipped to a US address. Rules and deadline subject to change without notice.

This giveaway is now over. And the WINNERS are:

Congratulations to Sam and Carla Gray, the winners of our seventh giveaway! We’ll be contacting you both today to get your address so we can mail your resin kits out to you. We know you’ll have lots of fun trying this new craft!

Thanks so much to everyone who entered. We’re amazed by the level of excitement so many of you showed for this type of crafting. We hope you all consider picking up some ICE Resin on your own and give resin jewelry making a try. And good luck in the next Christmas giveaway!

We're sorry, but comments are closed for this post.

I would so love to win this. I have tried all different types of resin and none have been sufficient. This is one that I have yet to try. Thanks for the chance to win. Good luck to all!

I’ve seen the results of doing ice resin pendants (artist Nancy Curry made some and showed the results on her blog). Wow! I wish there was some place locally that carried the resin. [Michaels, I'm talkin' to you!] It would be a fun art project.

P.S. Am on the hunt for the bookbinding book you featured earlier! I have her earlier book and really enjoyed it.

Oh boy! I love resin jewelry! Its sooo messy using regular resin and catalyst. Id love better control with this. Ive only really used paint palettes as my mold. It would be fun using the jewelry pieces this includes. Thanks so much!
