12 days of Christmas giveaways – Day 2: Tidy Tray Posted by Chica
December 15, 2011
Chica

We’re so glad you guys enjoyed yesterday’s giveaway of conductive thread that kicked off our 12 days of Christmas giveaways here on Chica and Jo. Are you ready for the next prize? This one is really great for messy crafters!

Day 2: Tidy Tray

If you’re ever worked with glitter, you know how hard it can be to keep your work area neat and clean. Same goes for embossing powder, flocking, sand, or small beads. Our favorite solution to this problem is a Tidy Tray! These plastic trays give you plenty of work surface and have a spout on the end so that you can just tilt it up and pour the spilled stuff back into the bottle when you’re done. Isn’t that clever?

Tidy Tray

We’re giving a way a set of two Tidy Trays (6″x8″ and 10″x14″) to one lucky winner. Just leave a comment below to enter. We’ll pick the winner tomorrow morning!

RULES: One entry per person (determined by e-mail address). One winner will be chosen at random from all valid comments received by the deadline. Winner will be contacted via e-mail within 72 hours of giveaway end date. Winner must reply within one week with a mailing address or prize will be forfeited and new winner will be chosen. Giveaway open to US residents only and prize will only be shipped to a US address. Rules and deadline subject to change without notice.

This giveaway is now over. And the WINNER is:

Congratulations to Chi Chi, the winner of our second giveaway! Chi Chi, we’ll be contacting you today to get your address so we can mail your trays out. Your crafting will be so much neater now!

Thanks so much to everyone who entered. It sounds like everyone could use a little help keeping glitter under control! I especially love the idea several of you suggested about using a Tidy Tray to corral sprinkles when decorating cookies and cupcakes. Brilliant idea!

Keep checking back every day until Christmas, because we’ve still got lots of prizes left to give away.

We're sorry, but comments are closed for this post.

I could SO use this when decorating cookies with colored sugars. And, again, when playing with my seed beads. It’ll sure beat the way I’m doing it now (creasing paper and carefully pouring sugar/glitter back into container).

First, I don’t want to win this contest (so if I do, please generate another number), because I already have one. And it is very handy. But… I have a problem with static cling on the plastic. What’s the best way you know of to eliminate the static? Thanks!

Sam, you can probably find a Tidy Tray at your local craft store, but if not, check out this link to Amazon for several options.

Jeanne, that’s sweet of you to let us know you don’t want to be entered, so someone else has a chance. You might want to try a Perfect Crafting Pouch to reduce static electricity with your trays. We saw a demo of one of those at a trade show a while ago and it seemed to work quite well. I’ll bet you could also try rubbing the tray with a fabric softener dryer sheet to reduce the static electricity.
