Did you guys realize that Friday the 13th is coming up next month? In case you’re looking for a reason to party, we wanted to remind you about the superstition-themed birthday party that Chica planned for a friend of ours last year. This would make a perfect theme for a Friday the 13th party as well.

To get the guests to the party, you can either use Chica’s tutorial to create broken mirror invitations or you can make some Ouija invitations using my download and tutorial.

Shortly after I originally posted the Ouija invitation idea, one of our readers, Lori, threw a mystical 13th birthday party for her daughter and used the Ouija party invitation for the guests.  After the party, she asked me if I would be willing to make her a thank you note to send out.  I thought that was a great idea, so here’s a downloadable template!

After you download the template, follow the same instructions I gave for the Ouija party invitation to apply the printed images onto real wooden boards. It really makes them look so authentic!
