Princess Peach castle party invitation Posted by Chica

We’ve teased you long enough about the theme of Little Jo’s birthday party this year, and you’ve been so patient, but we’re finally ready to tell you! Little Jo thought long and hard and decided that she wanted her party to be all about Princess Peach. She’s been a huge fan of the Super Mario Bros game for the Wii ever since it came out, so the female lead from the game (who is blonde just like Little Jo is) was an easy choice for her theme.

The first step to the party, of course, was making an invitation. Jo and I love nice, easy printables, so that’s exactly what we made for this party. This might be the easiest one yet!

Princess Peach Castle
invitation template

The downloadable template has two pages, one for the front of the invitation and one for the back. Go ahead and print page 1 onto one side of a piece of white cardstock then flip it over and print page 2 on the back.

I realize that sometimes when you try to print something on both sides of a single sheet, the two images don’t line up quite right. To avoid that problem, I made the design on the back of the invitation quite a bit larger than it needed to be. That way, it’s sure to cover the whole invitation when you cut it out. If you hold the printed invitation up to the light, you can see how well the back design covers the front. Pretty cool, huh?

Once you’re all printed up, just use a paper trimmer to cut out the invitation, following the outline on the FRONT side. You’ll end up with an invitation that’s perfectly sized to fit in a standard 5 3/4″ x 8 3/4″ envelope.

Just fill out your party details on the back and you’re ready to go!
