You all know how much I love to make chocolate-covered marshmallows. Marshmallows are always yummy, but to me, the ultimate marshmallow treat comes out just in time for Easter, and that’s marshmallow Peeps. Covering them with chocolate just sends them over the top! This fun snack is super easy to make and even yummier to eat!
First, you will need to put each Peep on a sucker stick. (Chica would insist on calling them lollipop sticks.) Then melt some chocolate candy melts
Then all you have to do is dip the Peeps into the chocolate and swirl them a bit until they are completely coated. Please be careful when doing this, because as wonderful as chocolate is, it can be quite hot when melted (I actually hurt my hand because I wasn't paying attention). Once dipped, the Peeps will need to harden. I stuck mine into some packing foam that I happened to have. This let them stay upright and avoid any flat spots, although the bunnies did slide down the sticks a little! You could also just lay them on parchment paper, which would keep them stable on the stick but then you get flat spots on the back. You'll have to choose which is more important to you here.
Once the chocolate dries, use some melted white chocolate (in a plastic bag or disposable icing bag with the tip cut) to pipe on an outline of the bunny and even some cute little tails on the back. Aren’t they adorable? I think these would make a perfect treat for Little Jo’s preschool class. They are so simple and inexpensive to make!

I was just going to ask wher you got the sticks from, cause here in France it’s an impossible task!
Then I saw your handy links at the top!!
Dare I say, great minds think alike?! lol
Hugs,

Bird, do they have Peeps in France?
you must have used white chocolate in the bunnies in the other photos? AM I CORRECT? because here they are showing them PINK not MILK CHOCOLATE as in the photo above. would have been nice to have had that option also explained! Just my thoughts on the recipe.
Bird have you tried to get some from online? special candy stores will have them, but I don’t have a website for you at this time.
Kate, all of the bunnies in the photos above were made using pink-colored candy melts.
