My husband loves groceries. Loves them. He doesn’t mind going to the grocery store and he even enjoys it when he has a list. So, for Christmas, my Mom bought him the Smartshopper Deluxe Model SS-201 Grocery List Organizer. Sounds pretty fancy, huh? This little contraption lives on the side of our refrigerator and organizes two of our shopping lists. One is our main grocery list and the other is for our local warehouse club. It’s super easy to use. You push the button and say what you want. Sometimes, it isn’t quite sure what you said, so it gives you a list of three items to choose from based on what it thinks you said. 9 times out of 10, the item I want is on that list and I push select. The other times, I yell at my husband to come input the item for me. Yep, I am just that technologically lazy sometimes.
I’ve waited this long to tell you guys about this item because at first, we weren’t sure we liked it. We had to manually enter a few of our frequently purchased things and that is kind of a pain. But after using it for almost 2 full months now, we LOVE it! It’s nice to have items organized by store section and you just push print when you are ready to go shopping. What could be easier? I can see this piece of tech really evolving over the next few years. Wouldn’t it be nice to have something like this built into your refrigerator? I guess they could already have that and I am just not that up-to-date on my refrigerator technology.
Do any of you all own this machine? If you do, what do you think of it?

This looks kinda cool, but for $80 bucks I don’t know if I’ll be buying one anytime soon.
Reviews on Amazon were VERY mixed. I would like to get one for DH (the resident shopper) but want to ensure all the bugs are worked out. Would love to hear what more owners think.
Thanks for introducing this to us.
I received my SmartShopper several years ago for Christmas and can’t imagine life without it. It is so easy and keeps everything organized. I also use it for running errands. Just put everything on it, print and go!! I have had to manually put some items on it, but once they are entered you just say the word and it shows up on the screen. I can also input sizes, quantities and if I have coupons for the items.
Im going to ask my hubby to buy me one for mother day:)
Sarah, I agree about the price, it is a little steep. I think it should be $50 but that’s just me! However, it really is a nice gift to give someone.
Just saw a cute video on YouTube on this very same product.

Haha, that video is so cute, Lynne! And I like the way it shows how easy the product is to use, too
I got mine Christmas 2008. It looks a little different. But I love it. My daughter loves putting in what we need and then printing it out. One of the best christmas presents from my husband.
