It’s February, and love is in the air. And thanks to ABC’s The Bachelor, it’s on my television, too. I know this has nothing to do with crafts, but I just had to tell you guys that I totally love this television show. Okay, I guess some of the women on that show can get quite “crafty” in their pursuits of the bachelor, but that’s different. I know it’s just a dumb reality TV show, but I’ve been watching from the first season and I can’t help it. I just love it!
If you haven’t seen the show, you can catch up on ABC.com, or with streaming episodes on Amazon. And I just discovered a DVD of The Best of the Bachelor – Season One that I might have to check out some time.
I finally got Jo to watch it this season and she was hooked immediately. (Her husband is still fussing at me for it, too!) Do you guys watch it? Does this season seem a little “off” to you, too, or is it just me? Or is it just Jake? Who do you think will be the final two women at the end? I’m rooting for Tenley myself. Let me know what you think!

Hello, my name is, Jo and I am a “Bachelor” addict. I think it is going to be Ali and Tenley.
This is my first season of watching the Bachelor. I get a real kick out of the women on the show. I think it will be between Ali and Tenley, but they are keeping Vienna on for the tension she creates.
Have a good day!!

I’m with you – I’ve been hooked since Season 1! There’s something about trying to find the love of your life that’s very appealing. But I wouldn’t do well sharing someone I really like with a bunch of other gals. That part I don’t like at all. And I’m old fashioned. I like the guy to pursue the gal, not the other way around.
Why do the gals not understand that Jake isn’t a “prize”? If their personality meshes with his, and he and one of them has a good chance of making a good life together, shouldn’t THAT be the goal and not seeing who can get “picked”? (I, too, am hoping Jake and Tenley work out – her admission as to what she felt she did “wrong” in her first marriage makes me believe she has some insight as to what to do better. And her personality is so upbeat and fun, and she seems to be open for all sorts of adventures! We can only hope that Jake feels the same!)
Wendy, I was a big fan of Ali at first, but I suspect she’s wearing her welcome thin. And I am baffled by Vienna’s continued presence.
Casey, I agree wholeheartedly. This may be reality TV, but it shouldn’t be a game show. Who knows if you can really find love in such a contrived environment, but anything is worth a shot! And all the better if it entertains me in the process
Yeah, most of us gals are hopeless romantics, so to be able to watch a show and be thoroughly entertained while feeding our love addiction is a double bonus!
Blessings…..
I”ve been watching it to, much too the chagrin of my husband….. I think it’s going to be Ali and Tinley, and why Vienna is still on, is weird, did anyone catch her description of marriage? So far off, it is unbelievable
I like Tinley b/c she of what she’s been thru!
Yes the Bachelor is my guilty pleasure. My guess for the final two is Vienna & Tinley. He will pick Vienna and Tinley will be the next bachelorette. I will also be attending the Molly & Jason wedding in March. It will be in my home watching on the tv mind you, but I will be attending.
Sarah, Vienna is either an airhead or getting a very bad edit! (P.S. Am I the only one who thinks of vienna sausages when I think of her?)
Marie, I think Tinley would make a great bachelorette! I won’t be able to resist Jason and Molly’s wedding, but I still have a sort of icky feeling about how that whole season ended…
