Feature Friday – Needle book tutorial Posted by Chica

You may remember a few months ago, when Jo told you all about a really cute hanging bag for crib toys that she found over Create Studio. Well I was browsing around there again yesterday and I found another project that I just had to share with you.

Sarah, the creative mind behind Create Studio, made a really darling little needle book to tuck extra sewing needles and pins into. That alone is neat, but what I really loved is that she made it out of leftover felt and ribbon. What a great way to use up leftovers!

I can’t get over how awesome the woven ribbon cover is for the book. It’s the same technique I was enthralled with after reading the Ribbon Crafts book that I reviewed a couple weeks ago, remember? I just love it!

If you want to make your own needle book, be sure to check out the full tutorial Sarah has so wonderfully provided on her site.
