I’ve been doing a lot of wrapping of Christmas gifts over the last week or so, and I still have plenty to do. As I go, I’ve been using a couple of my favorite wrapping tips that I’ve shared with you before (color-coded giftwrap and handmade bows), and this year I’ve added a new trick to my arsenal. Personalized photo gift tags!
This project can’t get much easier, really. Just take your favorite photos of your family members and print them onto sticker paper, photo paper, or white cardstock,
then cut them out into fun shapes with decorative scissors.
If you want to mat them on colorful cardstock, even better!
Then simply stick photos of Grandma on her gifts and photos of Aunt Betty’s on hers. Even my dog Jack got his photo on a bag with a chew toy in it (Shh! Don’t tell him!). It’s so fun and easy!
You can use the same pictures over and over, or different ones for each gift. The kids will have a blast handing out gifts based on the pictures on each box, and the adults will have fun reminiscing over the cute photos you’ve selected for each tag. If you use photos from throughout the year, it can be a fun trip down memory lane!

Chica, you just inspired me to finally use those “extra” pictures that I have sitting in a box in my craft room. I always print more than I need for my scrapbooks so this would be a perfect way to use those.
I love these! I have already wrapped most of my presents but I may have to re-do the tags.
Where do you two girls come up with all these incredible ideas?! Thankfully, I dont have anyone to buy for ‘cept my boyfriend. If I still lived near my family then I would have definately made these wonderful tags. This is my new favorite craft.
Jo – Great idea!
Bailey – I think you should too
Becca – Sometimes we really get on a roll! Christmas is so fun that it’s easy to come up with new ideas. So glad you are enjoying it the site and this project
