After I finish a scrapbook, I always have a few embellishments left over. I would toss all of them into a shoe box, certain that I would use them for a later project. Well, the shoe box is now full and I can’t find a thing! All of those small scraps of this-and-that seem to multiply and I end up not being able to find anything and I certainly can’t remember what I have tossed in there! So, when the bloggers over at RealSimple asked for ideas for using old CD jewel cases, a solution finally clicked. Those small bits and pieces would fit easily into a case once the plastic tray that held the CD was removed.
I placed like items into a CD case and then I used my label maker to clearly identify what was in each case. Then, I placed the cases into a CD holder
that had been collecting dust in the back of my closet. How neat and convenient! And, I didn’t spend a dime on a fancy new organizing system.
