Chica and I have written a lot of posts on being green in the past. We love trying to think of new ways to use things we would otherwise throw or give away. In honor of Earth Day coming up on April 22nd, we challenge you all to submit your best recycling projects to our contest. Just email us (contest@chicaandjo.com) a picture of your finished project or a link to it. Below, you will find some of the prizes already donated by our sponsors. We will have a follow-up post soon giving the complete list of prizes and providing pictures where applicable.

Rules:

• Project must contain at least one recycled item.
• Submission emails should contain your name, picture or link to the project, list of materials used, and short project description. By submitting your picture you are giving us the right to publish it on our site if we choose.
• All submissions must be received by 12:00 AM, ET on April 20th to be eligible.
• Multiple entries are allowed.
• International entries are accepted.
