One of our readers, Megan of Seattle, sent me a link to the blog, Just a Girl to show me the cute idea posted there for teacher’s gifts. She took regular hand sanitizer pump dispensers and decorated them with stickers, rub-ons and tags to make customized presents! What a simple and fantastic idea.
The blog author shows you how easy it is to remove the manufacturer’s sticker and replace it with clear-backed images of your own. These would also make great gifts for your office mates.
I forwarded this clever post on to our friend Jenny who immediately responded with enthusiasm. She decided to make customized travel sized bottles for all the kids that are going with us to DisneyWorld next week. The kids might not mind cleaning up so much if they get their own personal bottle complete with their favorite Disney characters!

And…what a clever rethink of this idea – I love the travel size editions!
Michelle, very cute Valentine designs. I am sure the teachers loved them.
These turned out so cute! I would have never thought of the travel size! Plus they are cheaper
great idea very clever
If you have a Krogers they have soaps and sanitizers on sale 10 for 10.00 so you could get a real deal if you need several of these. TOO CUTE!!!!
Where did you find the pump bottles without anything on them??
Jeannie, the pump bottles I bought had a removable sticker on them. They do make them that way, you just have to look a little harder! Good luck!
Where do you get the stickers? What type of stickers?
Julie, you can use any stickers you like.
I made these as well for my nieces teachers at school! However, I printed the school logo with the teachers name on a transparency film and put it inside the bottle! Great gift =)
