I am a huge fan of all baked goods, especially cake. I love to make cakes and I love to eat them. I’m always happy to find inspiration for new and clever ways to serve up yummy morsels of goodness, and never have I been as instantly and joyously inspired as I was when I found Bakerella. I couldn’t stop reading her blog, and my sweet tooth was in high gear in no time!

The author at Bakerella is not a professional (she just plays one on TV), but she has a passion for cakes and a spark of creativity that rivals no other. I seriously love all her stuff, and some of my favorites include her red velvet cake balls, her dead-ringer Garfield cupcakes, and her Coca-Cola snow globe cupcakes, which are just cool beyond words. She even has a flair for organization and color that really appeals to me (she inspired me to start my own sand collection).
