There seems to have been a rash of posts recently on Matryoshka dolls, also known as Russian nesting dolls. This intrigues me because I have had a a set of blank ones
sitting in my craft room for a few months now trying to decide what I want to do with them. I saw one idea on Craftster for making them into Star Wars characters, very nice art work! And over on DesignSponge, they made theirs into cute shakers for spices. After seeing these two posts referenced in one day, I decided to do a Google blog search to see what other ideas I could find to inspire me.
I was pleasantly surprised to find the blog named so you wannabee a Domestik Goddess. The blog’s author, Jen, has a post on Unconventional DIY Russian Nesting Dolls that I found very interesting. I looked at her blog a bit more and fell in love when I read that she also enjoys playing the game, Settlers of Catan, which is a favorite of mine and Chica’s! I believe I have found another online friend. Stop by her blog to see what this delightful Domestik Goddess is up to right now.
