I was Googling for some Scrabble tile inspiration the other day and stumbled across a blog called deep fried kudzu. Being the southern girl at heart that I am, the name instantly resonated with me and I found myself deep into the depths of a delightful blog, compiled by Ginger. She has an array of projects that I want to try out such as “Picture Marble Magnets“, “Embellishing Canning Lids” and “Making Night Lights with Shrinky Dinks“. The one I want to feature today however, is her “Organizing with Scrabble tiles” post. Look at how cute these plastic bins turned out! Welcome to my Google Reader, Ginger!
If you would like to submit a project for consideration as a Feature, just send us an e-mail at features@chicaandjo.com. Everyone who is featured will receive a banner image to display on his or her site, to tell the world that he or she was featured on ChicaAndJo.com!

Wow! Thank you so much for finding me and putting my project on your site! I can’t wait to see what else you have here.
Cute idea! I’ll be linking to this!
Rachel, you should check out Ginger’s full site, she has lots of great ideas on there that would be fantastic featured in one of your blog round-ups.
I was wondering what ideas you have for paper clutter organization….??? It seems like we can’t keep up with all the incoming stuff!! What are things you pratice for this problem?
Thanks!
Lisa, I think we all have this problem! I wrote a post awhile back about using an accordion organizer to control my own paper clutter. I have been surprised by how well this system has continued to work for me. I also employ three baskets in our mudroom for incoming mail for the family. Each person has his own basket and I just toss all the mail in there that I don’t immediately throw into the trash can sitting right beneath it. I don’t allow junk mail to get past the mud room in my house! Another item I like to employ is a sheetfed scanner. All the important documents that I want to keep get scanned in once a week and then the original shredded if I don’t have to keep it. I hope these tips help you get your paper clutter under control! If nothing else, do like my husband does, dump all of your papers in a folder marked with the month and the year and stick it in a filing cabinet.
