Feature Friday - Recycle kid sweaters to make an elephant purse Posted by Jo
October 3, 2008
Jo

Our new online friend Dot, over on Dabbled, has an adorable tutorial for making elephant purses out of kid sweaters. Chica and I love projects that recycle materials we would otherwise toss. She has lots of examples and gives great step-by-step instructions. I am going to have to fish out my daughter’s outgrown sweaters now.

While you are there, be sure and check out her clever original art pieces featuring her robot friends. She has an online art portfolio as well where you can view her work. We hope you fall in love with her work just like we did. Enjoy!
