I’ve been ogling the beautiful handmade items over on Etsy for quite some time now. I can waste hours in there just wandering around in crafting cyberspace absorbing all of the creativity. Then finally, last week, it happened…I made my first purchase.

As soon as I saw the adorable purses by Allyson Hill, I knew I had to have one! I bought the only one that she had available in this cute wristlet style and boy am I glad I snatched it up when I did. I absolutely love it! I either carry it by itself or I throw it in a larger bag if I need to tote more items. I’ve had tons of compliments on the style and people can’t believe it is handmade because the construction is flawless. She apparently makes very cute trash bags for the car as well but they are so popular, she is sold out right now. I will have to keep an eye out for those as well. Also, I promise, Allyson has not paid me in any way to promote her handiwork, the purse is just that darn cute!

The other item I purchased was a cell phone holder by mooi bags for my new Centro. I don’t actually own the phone yet (Jo prods her husband) but I have a very cute holder for it. I like the fact that the clip on the strap allows me to attach it to my belt loop, purse handle or even to my cute new wristlet.

So, if you haven’t already done so, I highly suggest you head over to Etsy for some handmade goodies. It’s just like going to a craft fair especially if you chow down on some of Chica’s kettle corn while you browse!
