Keeping the Disney Magic alive Posted by Jo

At the end of our beach trip, we decided to spend a few days at the home of The Mouse. My daughter is three so she is completely enthralled by everything Disney. She loves Mickey, Minnie, Goofy, and the princesses, in particular, Cinderella. We had a great time going around the park trying to sight all of the characters. When we finally got to meet Cinderella up close and personal, my daughter was actually star-struck! When we finally had to leave and come home, we were all just a little bit sad to leave all of that magic behind. But before we left, I thought of one last way to make it last a little bit longer.

While we were in a shop in Downtown Disney, I spotted a Cinderella postcard and decided to buy it for our family scrapbook. But then, I thought it would be even more special if I went ahead and mailed it to my daughter from Disney World, written as if it came from Cinderella. I jotted a short note from the princess and the cashier even had Disney stamps on hand to add to the postcard. Even more convenient, the mailbox was right outside the door! I guess I am not the first parent to think of this idea!

When the postcard came in the mail, she was thrilled! Not only was it a piece of mail, which she LOVES to receive, it was a Cinderella card and written from Cinderella. She has it proudly displayed on her nightstand and I was able to bring a little bit of that Disney Magic back home with us.

That’s so sweet and a great idea!
I can’t wait to take my daughter to Disney someday!
