Apparently, I can’t make it two weeks on vacation without finding a craft store. I started itching about five days into vacation, wanting to gaze at a selection of rubber stamps or thumb my way through some scrapbook paper. So, I got in my car, left my Blind-Pass condo and went in search of a craft store. I thought I was going to have to go all the way to Ft. Meyers to get my fix but was pleasantly surprised when I found a store called “Three Crafty Ladies” right here on Sanibel Island.
This store is well stocked with supplies you might want for a quilting project, painting a seaside landscape or stamping some cards to send back home. I was thrilled by the rubber stamp selection at the store because appropriately, it contained mostly stamps with a beach/vacation theme. I was even more thrilled to find a gorgeous wooden rubber stamp with the Sanibel lighthouse on it! You know I had to snatch up one of those.
My aunt bought a Sanibel cross-stitch kit that she will complete for me as a birthday present. I love getting cross-stitch pieces but have never really had the knack to do that craft.
If you are searching for some Sanibel-specific crafting items, please contact the proprietor, Trudie, at the following address and I am certain she will be more than happy to assist you. If you find yourself on the island, I highly recommend stopping by this shop to get your crafting fix — the staff is knowledgeable and friendly and the selection is just right!

The 3 Crafty Ladies store is moving. It has been purchased from the owner. They are staying in the same strip mall, but all the way to the left, past Arundels Hallmark. They will almost double their space and promise to have many more items.
