Vazu vases make a great gift Posted by Jo

When I was in the hospital giving birth to my daughter, lots of friends and family brought me vases full of gorgeous flowers. I love receiving flowers, so I was thrilled with them sitting around the hospital room. But when it came time to take them all home, things were a little more difficult. It was hard carrying all of those vases and all the baby stuff and let’s not forget the new baby! As I was shopping the other day though, I came across a great, new type of vase that would have made transport a breeze — it’s a whole new type of vase, called a Vazu.

The beauty of the Vazu vases is not limited to the great patterns but extends to the functionality. They are made out of totally flexible plastic. That’s right, plastic. When they aren’t filled with water, you can see that they lie perfectly flat on your counter top. This makes them perfect for transport and storage. Anybody who has ever wanted to have a bunch of traditional vases in a wide variety of colors knows that the issue becomes finding a way to store them. But with these, storage is easy because they are totally flat. You could even put them in your filing cabinet under “v” for vases!

When the vases are filled with water and flowers, they are perfectly sturdy. There isn’t any danger in them tipping over, at least not any more so than a regular vase. Once filled, they also look remarkably like a “real” vase. You have to look twice to realize it is just flexible plastic.

I’ve bought these in a slew of colors to keep for myself as well to have on hand the next time I visit a new mom in the hospital. These would also work great in an office. When you aren’t using them, you can slide them into your desk drawer. Or, toss one into your picnic basket to hold flowers for your al fresco meal. Your kids will appreciate the fancy vase to hold all the wildflowers they gather.
